According to Transit Toronto Bombardier is going to be showing off a next generation streetcar which may or may not find its way on to the streets of Toronto eventually. You can check it out from noon until five in the evening on Monday the twenty-fourth of October. In three years the current fleet of TTC streetcars will need replacement so its time to start looking for the next incarnation.
i checked this out and it was very ugly with very little capacity
i vote no… the one pictured on spacing was much prettier

I think that the T.T.C. should consider the same low floor streetcars as they are currently running in Boston Massachusetts on the Green Line. Apparently they are of the same gauge as the ones in Toronto because I heard that back sometime in the late 70s/early 80s when they first brought the CLRVs into Toronto, some were shipped to Boston on lease to assist with the Metro system on the Green Line for some reason. I think the T.T.C. needs to do some research as to which company has produced these low floor streetcars that currently serve Boston and then make some serious considerations as to making a deal with the company to produce these same streetcars for Toronto as the next generation fleet.
