An ordinary building

Greg Smith tips us off to Franco Mattes and Eva Mattes who are stirring it up in Viterbo with their ordinary building piece. Long story short; they have installed a plaque on a building which looks like a city historical building plaque except the copy discusses how unremarkable the building in question is. Reactions are definitely mixed with some questioning the authorship of ‘history’ and others simply debating weather the building selected for this work is too unremarkable or not unremarkable enough. Perhaps they can mass produce such signs and make them a ubiquitous fixture of the city such that they dilute any attempt to officiate historical significance.
