The monotonous daily task of checking your inbox has just been mashed up with the thrill of crowd surfing and the lameness novelty of second life. 3D Mailbox is some kind of freakish nightmare with the slogan “Bring your email to life” for some reason. Lets stop and think about that for a second. Bring your email to life. Think about your emails. Now think about them being brought to life. Alice had it easy when she went through the looking glass when you contemplate the possible personification of emails incarnate in second life. The last thing any of us need to do is shove our ways through a crowd of salesmen, hoochies, quacks, and con artists to find the one or two email-avatars with something to say that we’d actually want to hear. Lets just all agree that the idea is fundamentally horrible and get past that fact for now so that we can collectively gather around and look in disbelief at the trailer. Lets also hope that nobody finds a way to integrate myspace or facebook into this, assuming they haven’t already. “Thanks” to Greg over from Serial Consign for sending this our way but it almost defies editorial. You’ll just have to check it out for yourselves. We’ll come up with something snarky to say later on in the comments section perhaps. This must be what the end of the internet feels like.
I love the sumos. Really, it doesn’t get any better than the sumos..
