String theory in two minutes (or less)
Discover magazine has run a short user-generated-content contest for science videos in two minutes or less. Theres been some really great entries and its a fulfilling project for Discover to have run demonstrating the general publics egernessto learn and the potential educational accessibility of bleeding edge abstract subjects. The winning entries explain string theory very effectively, with one prominently featuring a rubber ducky.
