In 1982 were you wondering about HBO’s new intro video with the model city? Check out this documentary about it. Evidently its the most accurate model city ever built, if you believe the narrator. Like the song says, pay close attention to the details. Theres, according to the narrator, a working light bulb in every room of every building. It even has a cyclorama.
1. Music is SO bad.
2. 3 months? I bet they could’ve used a laser cutter or 3d prototype machine.
3. The hair and mustaches in this video are epic.
4. The computer has giant red buttons! I would love to know what those are for. These are the days when every function of the machine gets a button.
5. I saw this cool thing on a different website, where the page author actually embedded the video into the post on the page. It was amazing. Something like this:

RE point 1: I thought the lyrics were pretty radical actually. awesome to the max, and so apt! “the detaAAAAAAls!” harmony is pretty unrresistable. One day someone should sing this song in their crit as the presentation itself, complete with jazzhands.
