Wright goes green(er) (…again)
Frank Lloyd Wright always had an affinity for the environment in relation to his buildings. Ask any tour guide at Falling Water. Nearly a century after the fact, some people are being pro-active by reforming Wright’s work in to something a little more in harmony with the natural context. The Unity Temple is going geothermal to reduce it’s reliance on fossil fuel by around eighty percent. Next time just...Bauhaus kids

Prince Charles has had just about all he can take of the International Style in england. Radiant City be damned, Charles wants – nay, he demands – human scale housing. Sure you may be able to make big projects with crisp lines and following all of Corbusier’s five rules to the letter. Kravitz in the details
The phrase “Rock star architect” is no longer just an expression referring to the elitist jet-setting globe-trotting architectural big shots. It turns out that Lenny Kravitz has found his new passion; architecture. Perhaps this is what we might dub ‘indie-architecture‘? Maybe Mr. Kravitz has just seen too many episodes of Trading Spaces and Pimp My Ride, thinking he can combine the two....
