What do you get when you cross a bad-assed Bauhaus Architect with a childs colouring book? Well you get a collection of original drawings from 1962 from the Marcel Breuer colouring book courtesy of the Smithsonian Archives of American Art. Hooray! Crayons for everyone!

Jeff Chapman can be found reclaiming urban oases throughout his little photo essay. This study spans two continents and countless fountains. (well not countless, we just didn’t feel the need to actually count, okay?) This seems more like a challenge than anything else though. Prince Charles has had just about all he can take of the International Style in england. Radiant City be damned, Charles wants – nay, he demands – human scale housing. The phrase “Rock star architect” is no longer just an expression referring to the elitist jet-setting globe-trotting architectural big shots. It turns out that Lenny Kravitz has found his new passion; architecture. Perhaps this is what we might dub ‘indie-architecture‘?
