You might think your art director is tough to work with. There is a tiny art director out there which might give your a run for their money though. She knows what she wants and she wants it now. Jack Schluze and Matt Webb’s design consultancy in London has produced Here & There (seen above) which visualizes Manhatan simultaneously as a map in bird’s eye view and as a projection at eye level view. Mirror’s Edge came out amidst great excitement a while ago. While many people were keen to play this game, and enjoy the new atypical gameplay experience, the most common criticism is that overall it’s simply too short – almost a tease. Most people who played the game ended it hungry for more and with this downloadable expansion pack, that is finally satiated.

Arnell allegedly presented this package to PepsiCo back in 2008 to pitch their branding trajectory for Pepsi Cola. It’s full of ridiculous infographics and designer hyperbole. There is a video game artist and dad over in San Diego who decorates brown paper lunch bags for his kids every workday on his lunch break. One can’t help but suspect that this makes the kid’s lunch taste even better somehow. This practice might even encourage the bags to get recycled or archived rather than disposed of so arguably this is even good for the environment.
