When is a Dalek not a Dalek?

dalekWhen its a coffee maker! You coffee aficionados (you know who you are) ought to check out this Venus Century 100 Year Anniversary limited edition coffee maker by Victoria Arduino. There were only a hundred made with number one given to number one himself – the pope. Ringing up at $19,932.00 USD, you know this makes a mean cup of coffee, plus as an added bonus it looks suspiciously like a Dalek, so it just may fill all your extermination needs too.

Personal sponsorship may become the new product placement.

Romanticizing a profession

Made in the USA

As popular as our boy Karim Rashid has become, he’s a long way from Mississauga. You never thought it would happen but unfortunately I must inform you that Karim Rashid has his own reality show coming to the USA network (sorry, rest of the world). Ironically it’s being called “Made in the USA” … go fig. Oh, it’s also – according to the network – “ingeniously” about the “American Dream”… whatever that is. There’s other people involved with the show but let us be honest … It’s going to be all about Karim, unless perhaps Hani comes to visit.
